Role of I.S.A. (Implementation Support Agency) in Jal Jeevan Mission<\/strong><\/p>

Jal Jeevan Mission<\/strong> is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, launched with the aim to provide safe and adequate drinking water through tap connections to every rural household by 2024<\/strong>. To implement this mission effectively at the grassroots level, several support systems are involved, and one of the most important among them is the Implementation Support Agency (I.S.A.)<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t

Key Responsibilities of I.S.A.:<\/strong><\/h3>

  1. Community Mobilization & Awareness<\/strong>
    Educating rural communities about water conservation, water quality, and responsible usage of water.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Ensuring Community Participation<\/strong>
    Helping in the formation and strengthening of Village Water & Sanitation Committees (VWSCs)<\/strong> and ensuring they actively participate in planning and implementing water supply schemes.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Training & Capacity Building<\/strong>
    Providing training to VWSC members, local volunteers, and other stakeholders on water management, monitoring, and basic technical aspects of the scheme.<\/p><\/li>

  4. Technical Assistance<\/strong>
    Supporting in activities like baseline surveys, identifying water sources, designing pipeline routes, and preparing village action plans.<\/p><\/li>

  5. Monitoring and Quality Assurance<\/strong>
    Ensuring the work is executed as per quality standards and within timelines.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
